Notes
Sandra Gibson is a visual artist and archivist working primarily with the medium of film. Her work was recently featured in the group exhibition “Dreamlands: Immersive Cinema and Art, 1905-2016” at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and “Celluloid: Tacita Dean, João Maria Gusmão & Pedro Paiva, Rosa Barba, Sandra Gibson & Luis Recoder” at the EYE Film Museum in Amsterdam. The solo exhibition “Light Spill: An Installation by Gibson + Recoder” is currently on view at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, New York through March 26, 2017.
